FEB Held Accreditation Instrument Workshop

The Faculty of Economics and Business at UNY has received high-level national accreditation, and in early 2023, it also obtained international accreditation from FIBAA. To maintain or even improve this accreditation, joint efforts are required. The Quality Assurance Unit at FEB UNY led a workshop on "Completing the Internal Quality Audit Instrument (AMI)" on 29/8. The event was attended by the quality assurance team from all study programs at FEB UNY, as well as study coordinators, department heads, and the Dean of FEB UNY.

During his speech, Dean Dr. Siswanto expressed his gratitude towards the quality assurance team for their hard work. "Thank you for scheduling a meeting where we could come together and collaborate in preparing study instruments that meet the required criteria," he explained.

"The FEB UNY quality assurance team has been successful in supervising all study programs to achieve national and even international accreditation. Achieving is challenging, but maintaining it is even more challenging. Eventually, we will have to report again for re-accreditation," added Siswanto.

Siswanto also mentioned that FEB UNY's performance in accreditation so far has been doing exceptionally well. "We have received FIBAA accreditation without any notes. It is crucial to continue the collective efforts in maintaining this level of performance in the future," he said.

Head of the quality assurance unit division, Dr. Siti Umi Khayatun Mardiyah, M.Pd. said that the various instrument files prepared were always asked about by assessors during visitations. "Hopefully all study programs can fill out this AMI instrument thoroughly so they can provide the best possible preparation," said Umi. (fdhl)
